When looking for a stand for a 52 inch TV, you should remember that this is the diagonal measurement of the screen. This is not the actual width of the TV, even when you factor in the width of the frame around the screen, which varies from model to model. The actual width is usually a few inches less then the diagonal screen measurement, so depending on whether you want the stand to be flush with the sides of the TV or not, be sure to check the actual dimensions of the TV.
