Loft beds for teenage girls

When we moved into our new house, we knew that we would have to downsize the kids’ bedrooms. My 14 year old and 11 year old daughters each wanted their own room, but the trouble was that each bedroom was tiny. After trying to figure out how best to arrange things I came across the idea of a loft bed. Basically it’s an upper bunk with no lower bunk. We just slipped a desk and clothes dresser in the space underneath and found that everything fit just right. And if my daughter finds it “cool”, then I feel we’ve done something right!
