No matter if you own a set of red, black or pink satin sheets, you will need to clean them regularly, just like most any other sheet. To do so, it is best to wash them by hand using a delicate fabric detergent in cool water. Once done, gently squeeze out the excess water without wringing the sheets and then drape them over your shower bar or on an outdoor line in the shade to dry.

Red satin sheets

Adding a touch of luxury to your bedroom is as simple as buying a set of black, white or red satin sheets. However, you may also add the same level of luxury by adding silk sheets to your bed set collection. Both silk and satin sheets are luxurious to the touch and will keep you warm during the winter months and cool during the summer. And if you can’t make up your mind on which fabric is right for you, perhaps a set of silk satin sheets, or silk charmeuse as they are commonly referred will do the trick.

Satin ties

If you are thinking of buying your young son his first tie, consider a solid color, preferably dark, satin tie, And you’ll want to buy a thinker one if possible. Thin satin ties tend to wrinkle more and since it’s for your kid, it’s worth the extra few bucks. In fact, you can get one online at Amazon for less than $100.00, which is a great deal in my book. Hopefully, he’ll appreciate the thought.

Satin throw blanket

Throw blankets made entirely of satin are almost impossible to find. Why? Because satin is not a warm fabric, and as such it is more suited for sheets than for blankets. Some throws have satin backings, borders or accents. It is likely that the satin blankets you find will combine another, warmer fabric.

Accidents happen and sometimes, no matter how careful you may be, you’ll spill something on your satin tie. The immediate response is to wipe off whatever it is you spilled on your tie, but don’t. That will just allow the stain to spread even more. What needs to be done is to lightly blot the stain with a clean handkerchief or tissue, then dab some water on a cloth and lightly try and remove the stain. This often works, but it will sometimes mar the fabric and look of the tie and you may need to buy another one. If so, look for satin ties that have been treated with “Techno-care” which helps resist staining. May be a little more expensive, but definitely worth it.
