If you are inviting a large group of people to an outdoor celebration, you should consider getting a large outdoor shelter or tent. You never know when it may rain, or if the sun will be beating down so hard that guests will be seeking out shade. Of course, there is always the option of people sheltering themselves in your home, but that may not be practical or even possible. Don’t forget that these types of tents can be rented for a fraction of the cost of buying, sometimes with installation included.

Tents for kids

Two things that really go great together are the outdoors and kids. If you have a decent size backyard, your children could probably spend days outside playing and imagining all kinds of cool adventures. One way to add a boost to their imaginations is to set up a kids tent in the back yard on those really hot and sunny days. It probably wouldn’t take long before they figure out some cool way to use the tent as a fort or other make believe dwelling. Plus, on those rainy days, the tent can be used in the family or play room with the same results.

Table tents

If you figure on having a lot of seated guests at your next function, you may want a way of assigning them to specific tables. One way to do this is to assign each guest a specific table that you have designated with a numbered table tent. A table tent is usually a clear holder resembling a small acrylic picture holder that you can find in most Dollar stores. Simply place a numbered piece of paper or thin cardboard inside the then and place on table. It’s as simple as that.
