Couch cover throws should not be confused with couch slipcovers. Slipcovers are fitted, and are meant to cover a sofa almost perfectly so as to look as much like upholstery as possible. A sofa cover throw is simply a rectangular piece of fabric sold in dimensions that are meant to cover standard couch sizes. But the fit will be different: it will be a looser covering that will fold in certain spots. Not as perfect, but usually less expensive and more versatile.

Sherpa blankets and throws

For those who live half the year in a cold climate, there are two items that should have found their way into your house by now: a sherpa blanket and a sherpa throw. A sherpa blanket and/or throw is a great addition to any bed-set or living room couch/comfy chair.
