Wooden dining chairs

A good alternative to upholstered chairs are wooden dining chairs. Although a well made wood chair should be comfortable, you may still want to add a cushion for extra comfort. This is a good way to add the color of your choice to your dining room, and change the cushions if you ever want to change the decor without much cost or expense.
