A wool coat should be part of every woman’s winter wardrobe as it looks good, keeps you warm and is elegantly fitted. However, if you want to keep your wool coat relatively like new year after year, you need to do a couple of things before you store it away for the spring and summer. First off, make sure to thoroughly clean your coat either professionally or by yourself using a garment brush. Once that is done, slip your coat into an air-tight storage bag or box with a secure lid to keep moths and other insects out. Then store your coat in a cool and dry area checking every month or so that the area is free of dirt and insects. It’s a little extra work to keep your coat looking like new, but it is worth it.

The idea of a wrap coat is that one of the sides is made wider so that it folds over the side.
