Usually, the front line for any successful business is the reception area where existing and potentially new clients get an immediate sense of how the business is run. Apart from comfortable seating and a table or two, a reception desk should be the focal point of the waiting area. And whether you have a small reception desk or a large one, it should not look cluttered. A phone console, computer monitor and memo/message pad should be all the receptionist has to worry about so he or she can focus their attention on the immediate needs of your walk-in clients.
