Tufted dining room chair

One of my fondest childhood memories was visiting my great-grandmother in her old Victorian style home. She had impeccable taste in all that she did and owned and one of the most majestic rooms I had ever seen was her dining room. It featured a long, wooden table that could literally seat twenty comfortably and was decorated with many carvings alongside the edge of the table. She also was quite fond of her burgundy tufted dining rooms chairs which were big and comfy. It was almost like having dinner with the Queen, except probably better.

Dining room table pads

One of my favorite memories of when I was a child, was when I would visit my grandparents with my mom and dad. I loved going over to their place because it meant that I would get a few bucks for candy that week, as well as a delicious home cooked meal served in the dining room. As an adult I now own that same dining room set and I protect it with a dining room table pad cover so that my children don’t mark the wood up when they are drawing or coloring on that table. And like my grandparents, when I have the family over I serve dinner on that same table. Ah memories.
