Keeping a child’s room and/or day care play-room area clean and organized can be a very frustrating job, especially when your kids have lots of toys, games and books that they keep playing with and then discarding for another toy or book. A wood bench with storage compartment is a great way to add storage space to a room or area that is lacking in such. The wood bench looks nice in most decors and acts as another piece of furniture. One or two people can use it as an extra seating space. The storage area inside the bench can then be used to hold linens, toys, towels, bedding, clothes and whatever else you can place inside. Great for at the foot of a bed or in a vestibule or entrance way.

With space sometimes being an issue on the home-front, under bed storage containers can provide just the right amount of needed storage space for clothes, toys, books, collectible cards and more, when bureaus and closets are stuffed. These storage containers can also be used for storing and organizing DVD’s and CD’s to fit snugly under the couch or futon. Glass storage bowl set

If you’re using plastics to seal and store your food, spices and other ingredients, you may be inadvertently causing potential health risks to you and your family. Given that there have been an increasing number of scientific studies done on the harmful chemicals from plastic especially when used for heating up food in the microwave. A healthier option would be to change up your plastic containers for a glass storage bowl set. Glass is a natural alternative and can be just as convenient as plastic when storing food.

Entryway wood storage bench

An entryway storage bench gives you a place to sit and take off or put on your shoes and boots. Some come with storage baskets or drawers, which is great for keeping things tidy. At least in theory. In my experience, kids tend to leave hats, coats, and bags on the seat, making it not only messy but impossible to sit on. So if your family is like mine, you may want to set some rules about keeping the storage bench free of unnecessary items.
